DEVELOPING THE MARKET PRESENCE OF COSTA NAVARINO – THE PELOPONNESE IN THE UK
Challenge:
To enhance and develop the market presence and profile of Costa Navarino as a resort destination covering luxury hotels, private residences and signature golf courses.
Solution:
A targeted press office was activated with a key focus on specialist consumer media who share an interest in one or more of the key activities on offer at Costa Navarino (golf, cycling, philosophy walks, diving, cooking classes, health and wellbeing). Hills Balfour also worked with Costa Navarino on strategic partnerships with like-minded brands, events and celebrities. For example, the Hills Balfour team coordinated a FAM trip during which a selection of UK media were welcomed into a Wentworth Hotel for a Costa Navarino Spa Day where health and beauty therapists from the resort had been flown into the UK to showcase just one facet of the resort’s diverse offering.
To date, the continued phases of development and launch have achieved press coverage with a PR value of over £14 million. Costa Navarino today is known to have raised the bar of luxury in the southwest Peloponnese.
